Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are expecting their first child
A$AP Rocky was arrested Wednesday morning in connection with a 2021 shooting at the Los Angeles airport.
The rapper landed at the California airport on his way back from a multi-day vacation in Barbados with his partner, singer Rihanna. He was arrested by the authorities who were waiting for him on the runwayreported the NBC News Network.
The singer’s attorney, Alan Jackson, confirmed his client was arrested.
Police made the arrest with the help of the Homeland Security Investigation Team of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Rocky, 33, real name Rakim Mayers, is being investigated by Los Angeles police for his alleged involvement in a November 6 shooting.
The victim of the shooting later told the local police The rapper, who was with two other people, approached him with a gun and shot him three to four times.
The shooting had not been made public.
The TMZ site reports that police are currently serving a search warrant at the musician’s Los Angeles home.
That’s what the Los Angeles Police Department says A$AP knew the victim and that the alleged shooting happened after an argument between the two. Authorities were working to confirm the information the victim gave them about the incident, which helped them identify the rapper as a suspect.
It is not clear when this can be expected Rihanna is giving birth but has said she is in her third trimester. The couple announced the pregnancy in January.

The rapper got into legal trouble in 2019 when he was arrested for his involvement in a street fight and jailed in Sweden for a month.
A Swedish judge has ordered the release of Rocky and two members of his team after they were found guilty of assault. As a result of his conviction, he was given a suspended sentence and ordered to pay the victim $1,270.
In a statement following his release, the rapper reflected on his brief stint behind bars, calling him a “very difficult and humbling experience.”
The incident happened in central Stockholm on June 30, two days before he performed at a festival in the Swedish capital.
Mayer’s arrest sparked a wave of social media solidarity in her favor, with messages of support from stars including Kim Kardashian and Justin Bieber, followed by Trump’s intervention with Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lövfen.
