Rapper Snutty Wilde was shot in the neck and killed in Houston on Friday when a dispute with another driver erupted in violence after he accidentally drove his car into a ditch.

The 36-year-old Memphis rapper, whose real name is LePreston Porter, was initially said to be in critical condition after being found shot in his jeep in a ditch in Houston on Friday and given a 50/50 chance of surviving, according to authorities.

“It seems that he returned there (ditch) by accident. Then the other vehicle stopped and people got out of the car, “said Officer R. Wickens.

“They talked a little and then suddenly a shooting started. In fact, just one shot.

The sequence of events that led to Wilde’s death remains unclear, including whether those who killed him sought him out, or whether the murder was a random argument that went out of control.

Authorities are currently searching for a man and woman believed to be suspected of the fatal shooting.

Police added that it is very likely that the two suspects are still in the area where the body and the jeep of the rapper were found.

It is reported that the whole shooting was filmed on camera by a neighbor.

ABC13 reported that police were alerted to the shooting, which took place on a street in England near Alice Street, around 2 am thanks to the Shotspotter program.

Snuthy, meanwhile, received CPR at the scene before being taken to a nearby hospital, authorities said.

Snootie is perhaps best known for his hit song “Yayo” starring Yo Gotti.

The rapper had chillingly predicted life in danger years ago after telling the story Boom Box that he felt like he was playing Russian roulette with his life in a 2015 interview.

An initial statement posted on the rapper’s social media read: “Snuti is not DEAD! But he is fighting for his life.

No one was arrested on Saturday night in connection with the deadly shooting, and police say an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
