Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine ‘is arrested in Florida for ‘no show’ – months after he was mugged in a gym sauna

New prison records have revealed that notorious rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine has been arrested in Florida for a no-show.
The once-popular rap star, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was checked into a Palm Beach County jail Wednesday night and released three hours after his arrest, the Sun reported.
The 27-year-old rapper has kept quiet about the arrest. His most recent social media post, an Instagram story, simply promoted a range of e-cigarettes.
The arrest comes months after he was beaten up in the men’s locker room at an LA gym in south Florida.
The disgraced rapper was hospitalized for treatment of serious injuries, including cuts, bruises and swelling to his jaw, ribs and back.

Shortly after the brutal attack, the group of men who claimed to have beaten him bragged about the attack on social media.
In videos circulating online, they called him a “rat” who would not be tolerated in their “environment”.
As he kicked and punched him, one could be heard shouting to the other, “Take a picture, take a picture – I’m going to be famous now.”
It’s currently unknown what exactly sparked the Florida attack, but Hernandez was rarely short of enemies.

His popularity plummeted in 2018 after he was branded a snitch for testifying before prosecutors as part of a deal to shorten his sentence.
He faced a staggering 47-year prison sentence and could have gone to life after being charged with multiple crimes, including racketeering, gun possession, armed robbery and attempted murder.
But prosecutors made him a deal that drew the ire of the entire rap world, and he ended up behind bars for just two years.
