The Peruvian striker is set to make his Club World Cup debut this week and, at best, could face Real Madrid.
Dreaming costs nothing. There are fewer and fewer days left to start a new edition of the Club World Cup. In addition, Real Madrid and flamengo emerge as favourites, Peruvian fans are expecting a lot due to the participation of André Carrillo (Al-Hilal) and Raúl Ruidíaz (Seattle Sounders). With that in mind, the “flea” was encouraged to talk about what it would mean to face a competition of this magnitude.
“I want to play, we’re excited. For me it will be the most important tournament of my career. It’s up to us to do things well to be able to achieve something even more important. We go out into the world with everyone believing to do our best,” he said in a dialogue for MLS.

As is known, the American team will compete against the winner of Al-Ahly (Egypt) vs. Auckland City (New Zealand) and in case of victory could face strong Real Madrid.
“If I win the first game, I imagine playing with these two great teams (Flamengo or Real Madrid). Dream is free, it would be something spectacular,” he said of eventual qualification for the semi-finals.

The top club tournament will be held in Morocco from February 1st to 11th, 2023.
