There are still a few days left to meet the players of the Peru team who will be nominated for the first double date of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. When will the Peruvian team be advertised?

According to Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) team manager Antonio García Pye weeks ago, the La Blanquirroja coach is set to finalize the squad list this Friday, August 25. Reynoso himself confirmed a few days ago that he would hold a press conference on this date.

When does the Peru team play for the qualifiers?

The Peru team’s first two matches in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers will be played on Thursday 7 September and Tuesday 12 September against Paraguay and Brazil respectively. The game against Albirroja will be played at 5:30 p.m. in Ciudad del Este, while the game against Scratch will be played at 9:00 p.m. (both Peruvian time) in Lima.
