I’m a rebel! Who grew up in front of the TV in the 2000s and was conquered anahi, Alfonso Herrera, Christian Chavez, Christopher von Uckerman, Dulce Maria and Maite perroni, have a lot to celebrate! THE RBD (@rbd_musica), a band from Mexican telenovela Rebelde (20042006), has just announced their return to the stage after almost 15 years since the band’s demise.
In this third week of January 2023, amidst busy schedules, Anahí, Christian, Dulce and Maite took some time to speak to Vogue and exclusively revealed the details of the new world tour, Soy Rebelde, which will have Brazil as a destination the announced cities where the five members (those already mentioned, adding Christopher) will perform.

The concerts on Brazilian soil will take place on November 17th and 19th this year in São Paulo at Allianz Parque and in Rio de Janeiro at the Olympic Stadium Nilton Santos the famous Engenhão. “To my heart it means that this news is wonderful, we will be together again and we will meet,” says Anahí.
“It’s a very important thing because we’re going to have a lot of surprises. We’re going to do an almost two and a half hour show where people can hear the songs from the first albums but also the songs from the last album [Para Olvidarte de Mí] that we never had the chance to sing. So now it’s going to be very, very special. There will be overproduction,” shares Christian Chávez, who also says the setlist is almost ready, but some songs are still being analyzed.
With nine studio albums, six live albums, 2 EPs, 21 singles and 15 music videos, RBD sales exceed 15 million copies making them one of the bestselling Latin music groups in the world.
RBD said goodbye to the stage 14 years ago. The last show was on December 21, 2008 in Madrid, Spain. In addition to Brazil, the Goodbye Tour naturally also went through countries such as Bolivia, Argentina, Ecuador, USA, Peru, Chile, Slovenia and Serbia. Dulce María recalls when the group decided to end the activities: “The shows were amazing.” And he adds: “I miss you so much and now to go back to such great places to sing with those who put us in.” Knowing Brazil as RBD is something incredible. Returning now as a mother, now after such a difficult time we have had to live as humanity, it will be beautiful.”
Maite, who started out in acting as well as music, describes Brazil as a very important place for his career. “I have often had the opportunity to tour as a soloist with my music. I was able to have several meetings with fans in different cities. In all those years Brazil was always part of my story and they filled me with a lot of love, a lot of affection.”
