RBD fans in Chicago shared the excitement of seeing their idols at the Mexican group’s first concert in the city on Thursday as part of their “Soy Rebelde Tour.”
Some of the Guaranteed Rate Field participants were dressed as characters from the famous Mexican youth soap opera Rebelde.
“Ever since I was little I wanted to be mine and her phrase ‘how hard it is to be me’ is my phrase that I live every day.” How hard it is to be me,” said young Anel Rivero, an RBD fan.
Another participant revealed that she owes her name to a member of the RBD group.
“When I see Anahí, I will cry because because of her my name is Anahís. That’s what my mother called me and it triggers great emotions in me,” said Anahís Rincón.
Expectations grew at Guaranteed Rate Field, where the concert took place this Thursday at 7 p.m.
The lecture lasted about two hours. Before entering White Sox Stadium, spectators passed through metal detectors and their belongings were searched to secure the show.
Other participants revealed that RBD were a part of their childhood and they were thrilled to see them live.
“Well, I’m very happy, especially that I met Christopher and Anahí, they were part of my childhood,” said César Sánchez.
After 15 years, fans saw their favorite group again and when they heard the song “Tras de mí”, those present burst into joy.
