Kyle Richards admitted on Wednesday’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” that she and her husband Mauricio Umansky were going through a rough patch.
The 54-year-old reality star was also surprised during the season 13 episode when Mauricio’s mother asked her what was going on between them.
“That’s what people talk about when they’re going through a hard time,” Kyle said in a confessional. ‘Well, here we are. It was hard.’
Kyle and Mauricio, 53, who announced their split in July, hosted a party for their daughter Portia’s 15th birthday with their entire family and Kyle was stressed. She said in a confessional that she didn’t feel like she was on the same wavelength as Mauricio.
“I think he put his heart and soul into the agency,” Kyle said in a confessional, referring to Mauricio’s ever-growing real estate business. “So it’s the other woman.”

Mauricio’s mother, Estella, took Kyle aside and asked if everything was okay between her and Mauricio.
“Yeah,” Kyle said.
“Every time I open Google something comes to mind, like you guys are breaking up, getting divorced, whatever,” Estella said. “Generally I don’t believe these things, but it’s too much.”
“I was seen without my wedding ring and people spread the rumor,” Kyle said.
Kyle said in a confessional that she took the ring off because she was lifting weights and was surprised when her mother-in-law questioned her. Kyle then blurted out to Estella that Mauricio had a tattoo and he became angry when she said that it was his personal information that she revealed after not knowing how many tattoos Kyle had.
The episode, titled “An Unwise Surprise,” began with Dorit Kemsley, 47, meeting Erika Jayne, 52, for a picnic in the park. Dorit said she was upset that Erika didn’t immediately apologize for saying on stage at BravoCon that Dorit and Paul “PK” Kemsley, 56, were the next to split.
“What I did was wrong,” Erika said. “I have to clarify this with you.”
Dorit thanked her and said she had had a really difficult year and felt unsupported by her husband. She then shared details about a spooky robbery that occurred last Christmas after the home invasion that left her even more shaken. She said it happened when she was withdrawing money from the bank.

“I withdrew $10,000 so I could have some money for Christmas presents,” Dorit said in a confessional. “I had my handbag in the shopping cart. When I got to the checkout I realized my purse was gone.”
Dorit said police checked video surveillance and found she was being followed by three men.
“That threw me right back into the post-traumatic stress disorder crisis,” Dorit said.
Erika said she wanted them to move on and the two hugged.
Sutton Stracke, 52, called Garcelle Beauvais, 56, to talk about planning an amazing trip for Crystal Kung Minkoff’s 40th birthday. Sutton hoped she could start over with Crystal.
Sutton had a matchmaker named Alessandra meet her at her house because the dating apps weren’t working for her.
“At this point, she’s my only hope,” Sutton said.

Matchmaker session: Sutton Stracke, 52, had a matchmaker named Alessandra meet her at her home because the dating apps weren’t working for her
Sutton told her that she had been divorced for seven years and that she would not be asked out on a second date.
“Tell me about your hobbies and interests,” Alessandra said.
“I like telling people what to do,” Sutton said.
“I haven’t had a second date in a long time, so I have to go there,” Sutton said in a confessional. “And if Alessandra can help me, I will listen to her.”
Kyle picked up Dorit in her new 2025 $165,000 Range Rover Autobiography.
“I’m so excited to ride in your new car, even though I literally have the same one, but congratulations,” Dorit said.
“Dorit thinks we’re going to lunch,” Kyle said in a confessional. “We’re not going to lunch.”
Previously, PK told Kyle that they hadn’t had the best year of their marriage and that he wanted to do something to mark his anniversary with Dorit. He said he wanted to take her to lunch at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel and reenact the movie “Pretty Woman.”
No Lunch: “Dorit thinks we’re going to lunch,” Kyle said in a confessional. “We’re not going to lunch.”
“What exactly does PK mean by casting Dorit into the Julia Roberts role of a sex worker?” Kyle said. “Maybe not the best idea.”
Dorit asked Kyle how things were between her and Mauricio. Kyle said he was really stressed at work.
“I think I’ve had a rough time the last six months,” Kyle said.
Dorit asked Kyle if she had thought about not ending up with Mauricio.
“What makes you think that?” Kyle said.
Dorit said it seemed like Kyle didn’t spend much time with Mauricio.
“I feel like I need a little freedom,” Kyle said. “Freedom and some space.”
“I feel like you’re keeping something from me,” Dorit said.

Needed Freedom: “I feel like I needed a little freedom,” Kyle said. “Freedom and some space”
Kyle pulled up to the Beverly Wilshire and the hotel clerk said they were expecting her and handed her a key. Kyle went to her room and there was a note from PK that said, “Happy Anniversary.” Kyle asked her if the hotel reminded her of a famous Hollywood film.
“Oh ok, I guess I’m joking, PK,” Dorit said. “Pretty Woman, they sat down to breakfast and he said, “I took the liberty of ordering everything on the menu.”
Dorit was upset and told a producer that she needed to know what was going on with her children. The producer told her to ask Kyle. Kyle called PK who told her to tell Dorit that it was a nice surprise and that the whole family was involved.
Dorit called her children, who told her to stop stressing. Dorit’s stylist showed up with her glam team with a rack full of red dresses. Dorit put on a red dress with long white gloves.
“You look great,” PK said when he saw her. “I wanted to do the whole ‘Pretty Woman’ thing because you’re a pretty woman.”
PK then gave her a $5 million diamond necklace to put on but told her not to get too upset because it was borrowed.

“I’m going to leave my reality behind for one night and live out my movie fantasy,” Dorit said in a confessional.
PK took them to a suite full of red roses and candles, where the group Berlin was waiting to sing their hit Take My Breath Away. The two danced and Dorit cried. Dorit later told him that she didn’t like surprises.
“That’s control, honey,” PK said. “And sometimes when your husband takes control, you have to let him do it.”
PK said he had difficulty understanding her post-traumatic stress disorder. Dorit said in a confessional that she needed his help with everyday matters, not grand gestures.
Garcelle went to Sutton’s house for lunch and became emotional as she told Sutton that she felt her 15-year-old son Jax thought she wasn’t a good mother.
“I just feel like I failed,” Garcelle said.
The women flew to Las Vegas on a private plane. They gave Crystal a sapphire necklace worth $3,000. They were picked up from the airport in red Phantom Rolls-Royces and checked into Resort World and a 15,000-square-foot suite with its own butler and pool.
Later, the women went to the Magic Mike show and Erika was on stage with the dancers.

Kyle asked her if she was upset that the dancers didn’t invite her on stage.
“You’re so stupid,” Sutton said.
