Teresa Guidice revealed on Tuesday’s episode of RHONJ that a pizza deal gone wrong was the cause of the rift between her brother Joe Gorga and fiancé Luis “Louie” Ruelas.
The 50-year-old reality star was asked by a producer on the Bravo show what sparked the bad blood between Louie, 47, and her younger brother Joe, 43.
“I’ve kept my mouth shut all these years to protect my brother, to keep the peace. And I’m so tired of it. I’ll tell the truth,” Teresa said to the camera.
She then showed answering essentially the same question during a group chat with Louie, Jennifer Aydin, her husband Bill. and show newcomer Danielle Cabral and her husband Nate.
‘I want to be honest with you. There was a deal and my fiancé lost a quarter of a million dollars,” said Teresa, who was previously involved with Joe at a pizza restaurant that closed in 2018.

In a confessional, Teresa explained that Joe came up with the idea of a family-run pizza oven, so Louie, 47, put up $250,000 to make it happen and offered Joe 5 percent of the business.
“So my brother has gone mad,” Teresa said. “He wanted 50 percent.”
Teresa said she told Joe if he wanted half, “you have to put half in,” and he wouldn’t.
“And then Louie accepted the loss,” Teresa said.
However, Joe said it was Louie who screwed him with the pizza business.
“I told him it’s my idea, me and my sister,” Joe said in a confessional. “We will honor my father. We call it Nonno’s Pizza. He loved it. My nephew got him involved. We ordered these ovens. Louie lays out the money. “I guess I give my sister 50 percent and he got 50 percent.”
Joe said he later learned that Teresa had a photo shoot using the pizza boxes she ordered as Skinny Pizza. He accused Louie of “giving him lip” and said Teresa then called him and reminded him he hadn’t come up with any of the money.
“It was my friggin’ idea,” Joe said.

“I think she’s so selfish that she doesn’t want to share, that’s what it boils down to,” said Melissa Gorga, 44.
“It got very ugly,” Joe said in a confessional.
Melissa started crying and said she felt sorry for Joe.
“It was very sad,” Melissa said in a confessional.
The Season 13 episode, titled Pizza Gate, began the morning after Melissa’s house party with Jackie Goldschneider, 46, Rachel Fuda, 31, and Dolores Cantina, 52, still wondering why Danielle, 37, wasn’t speaking to her brother .
“She’s everything I look for in a friend, but it feels like a link is missing in the chain,” Rachel said.
Danielle wasn’t happy about what happened either.
“Rachel was a little s*** starter,” Danielle said.
Getting emotional: Melissa started crying and said she felt sorry for Joe
In a confessional, Danielle said she originally saw Rachel as a new friend but questioned her relationship status.
Danielle said that Margaret Josephs is now mad at her because of what Rachel told her.
Melissa was also upset when she heard Teresa make comments about how her mother, Donna, didn’t deserve to come to her wedding.
“How dare you,” Melissa said in a confessional.
Rachel threw a brunch party at her home on the coast.
Dolores, Jackie, Margaret Josephs, 55, and Jennifer Fessler, 52, spoke to Melissa over brunch about Teresa speaking out about not inviting her mother, Donna, to the wedding. Melissa said she doesn’t understand why Teresa didn’t just do the right thing.
Danielle told Margaret that she thought the two of them should talk.
Danielle told Margaret that she was irritated and upset because it seemed like Rachel was creating a rift between them. Then Danielle called Rachel over.
Shaky friendship: In a confessional, Danielle said she originally saw Rachel as a new friend but questioned her relationship status
“Why does it seem like I attacked Margaret during our conversation,” Danielle said.
“You didn’t attack her,” Rachel said. “You said she has an arsenal of information.”
“Yeah, but that kind of throws me under the bus to try and get her started,” Danielle said.
“I won’t have anyone sowing bulls everywhere.” Damn graduate.’
Rachel asked Danielle if they were good.
“What the hell,” Danielle said in a confessional. “I see a different side of Rachel, a person I didn’t even know existed.”
Teresa heard Melissa was upset and asked Louie if he could handle it.
Then Danielle walked over angrily.
Information arsenal: “They didn’t attack them,” Rachel said. “You said she had an arsenal of information”
“I was really mad that you all talked about my brother last night,” Danielle said.
Danielle explained to them that her brother made fun of her as the reason why she blocked him on Instagram should have been explanation enough for her.
“If that really happened, that’s cuckoo,” Jennifer said.
Danielle stormed off saying she was “done”.
Teresa tried to talk to Melissa to find out why she was so upset. Joe saw them talking and sat down. Louie told them he would love for Melissa’s mom to come to the wedding. Louie said he understood they were both hurt.
“Just understand that she’s hurt too and I’m going to marry her in 31 days,” Louie said. ‘I want peace.’
“My brother needs therapy because he keeps blaming me for everything,” Teresa said to Margaret. “She has daddy issues. She needs to get help.”
Jackie said that wasn’t a nice thing to say, and then Teresa lunged at her.

“Jackie shut up,” Teresa said. ‘Get out of my fucking face.’
“Don’t you think it’s mean to say that to someone who lost their father in a car accident when they were 16,” Jackie said.
Teresa went over and told Joe she would have invited Donna if he had asked her. Joe reminded her that she stopped Melissa from being a bridesmaid.
“I’m so mad at you,” Joe said.
Teresa said she was upset too and felt that Joe and Melissa should have given her more backing. Teresa told Melissa that she didn’t ask her to attend the wedding because she didn’t defend Louie when Margaret mentioned things about him. Melissa points out that Teresa didn’t defend Joe when Jennifer attacked him. Teresa got angry and stormed off.
“Fix it!” Teresa called to Louie as she left.
“It’s your brother,” Melissa yelled. “It’s a shame you don’t want to fix it.”
Teresa came back and told Joe he wasn’t happy. Louie reminded Joe that Teresa called him a “B**** boy” at the reunion.
Good point: Melissa pointed out that Teresa didn’t defend Joe when Jennifer attacked him
“Oh shut up, I met you months ago and you were screwing me,” Joe said.
“C’mon, man,” Louie said.
“Shut up,” Joe said.
Joe and Melissa got up and left the party.
“I won’t put you in my wedding if you’re kidding me,” Teresa said.
Margaret and Rachel sat down and joined Teresa and Louie. Teresa started saying Melissa should have stood up for her last year. Louie reached his breaking point.
“I can’t take this shit anymore,” Louie said. “You have to listen to her. Because you’re still talking.”
“You and your brother have exactly the same problem,” Louie said.
Same Problem: “You and your brother have the exact same problem,” Louie told Teresa
Joe went back into the party and asked Louie to move his car so they could leave, but when he saw that they were sitting with Margaret he freaked out.
“Why are you sitting with Margaret,” Joe said. ‘Why? She’s so dirty.’
“Wait, did Margaret cause our whole family problem? said Joe.
Joe grabbed Louie but told him to get off him or he would punch him in the face.
“Joe, please stop,” Louie said. “Don’t be smart. Stop it ’cause I got nothing to lose Do you understand me?’
“It wasn’t me,” Margaret said to Teresa.
“If Melissa was a good woman, she would do better with my brother and I,” Teresa said.
Louie told Melissa and Joe that he didn’t want the rift to continue.
“I love you guys and I want you guys to be a part of our lives,” Louie said.
