Kristen Taekman suffered a gruesome — but thankfully bloodless — injury on Thursday's latest episode of Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip.
For the fourth season edition – RHONY Legacy – the ladies had the opportunity to hit the water at St. Barth's for surfing lessons, which was far more enjoyable than the sniping session from the previous episode.
But Kristen got an unfortunate surprise when she hit her toe on the wet, packed sand and loosened her big toenail.
Later, the ladies went to the beach for dinner and swapped stories about how they fell in love with their ex-husbands.
They capped off the heart-to-heart with a trip to the beach, where Luann de Lesseps, Dorinda Medley, Kelly Bensimon and Kristen all took a topless nighttime stroll on the beach before Dorinda plunged into the ocean.

The episode of RHONY Legacy ended with Luanna de Lesseps, Kelly Bensimon, Dorinda Medley and Kristen walking topless by the ocean after dinner
Day 5 of the ladies' trip began with Sonja hilariously staring at a package in the morning and saying, “With these girls, you never know if it's a sex toy or a suction tool for bug bites.”
Then it was off to Kelly Bensimon, who, along with Martin, the property manager, prepared an ice bath for her face.
She said the ice-cold water made her face look “frozen” and she compared it to her morning “mask.”
'Look at you! “You look like a baby,” Martin shouted as she pulled her face out of the water.
After the credits rolled, it was time for the ladies to do some morning exercises.
Kelly was ready for some yoga, but as Dorinda approached, she ran over to give her a long hug for what she thought was an awkward amount of time.
“To be chosen by Kelly – how did I deserve this job?” Dorinda complained about a montage of Kelly arguing with her and complaining about her at the start of the trip. “Don’t pick me.”
While they work out, Kristen stays in bed and wears face masks.
Eventually, Dorinda comes in and Kristen admits that she wants to try to get closer to Kelly, who she says has “no connection” with the other ladies.
Kelly started her day with an ice bath on her face to reduce puffiness
While wearing a face mask, Kristen complained to Dorinda that Kelly was distant from the other women
Ramona interrupted to show them her eye-catching two-piece suit with lots of cleavage, which she said made her look like a “Bond girl.”
But Dorinda urged her not to [Kelly] Kelly is worried about it.' She said Kelly wasn't particularly good at “communicating” but was excellent at “distracting” and “isolating herself.”
Then Luann comes into the house in a flashy bikini, showing off her outstanding figure, but Ramona steals the show when she pops out in an orange and white bikini bottom and matching top that she says makes her look like a “Bond girl.” “ makes it look like. '
“Look out Denise Richards, there's another Bond girl in town,” Luann said in the confessional, teasing the former Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star.
Martin came next to introduce the day's agenda and Ramona took the opportunity to try out some of her seemingly limited French skills with him.
The program first included surfing lessons on the beach, followed by a scavenger hunt and then dinner by the sea in Manapany.
But before she left, Luann lashed out at Sonja by complaining that one of the rooms “smelled like shit” because she supposedly wouldn't close the bathroom door when she used it.
Once on the beach, the ladies immediately started flirting with their two attractive surf instructors.
Dorinda was reluctant when it came time to get on the water because she was eager to surf again, but Kristen seemed to patronize her when she suggested that Dorinda pick up a surfboard that was easier to handle.
Next up was surfing lessons, where the ladies flirted with their attractive instructors
Kristen annoyed Dorinda when she condescendingly suggested she go for an “easier” surfboard because it made her sound like a pro
But in the end, Kristen was the worst surfer, while Dorinda was better on the board. “The only person who clearly needs the basic surfboard – or no surfboard – is you, Kristen,” Dorinda retorted
It was an ironic suggestion because Dorinda seemed to be much more successful at standing on her board than Kristen, even though Kristen had bragged in the confessional about how much she enjoyed surfing.
“The only person who clearly needs the basic surfboard — or no surfboard — is you, Kristen,” Dorinda shot back in a confessional.
But Kristen tried to defend herself by saying she was out of practice.
Kelly also seemed to enjoy the waves, and she recalled a horror movie she starred in called “Innocence,” in which her character went surfing with her daughter and drowned in the ocean.
Surfing lessons ended up being even more embarrassing for Kristen when she ended up injuring one of her big toes.
She had thrown it against the wet, thick snow, almost completely ripping off her toenail.
She revealed that she gave her a bad punch some time ago, but then the already injured toenail came off during a dance night a few days before.
Kristen accidentally pulled her big toenail almost all the way up. She said she had pushed it hard a while ago, but dancing two nights ago had loosened it and this was the final straw
A medic said it needed to come off and she screamed in pain and he cut away the excess tissue with a scalpel before cutting the nail off with scissors
It hurt so much that Kristen put her finger in her mouth to bite it
Sonja pretended to vomit from the injury
The surfing injury was the final straw, and now her nail was sticking out slightly and could barely be held just below the cuticle.
She sat in a lounge chair while a paramedic attended to her toe, saying the nail now needed to be removed because it had been pulled out so far.
Kristen called for some “emergency rosé” as the medic first washed away the sand from under the lifted nail before beginning to pry it open, causing Sonja Morgan to make a fake gasping noise while Ramona looked as if her stomach would get sick.
Kristen screamed in pain as her toenail was pried out, and she even went so far as to put one of her index fingers in her mouth so she could bite it.
Things got even more gruesome when the paramedic brought out a scalpel to cut through the remaining tissue attached to the bottom of the nail, then brought out a pair of heavy-duty scissors to cut it off completely.
Fortunately, since the nail had been separated from the skin for some time after the initial injury, there was no significant blood visible, but Kristen appeared to be in a lot of pain.
Afterwards, all the other ladies sat under one cabana, drinking and chatting, while she was left under the neighboring cabana.
“So cute, this group,” she murmured sarcastically.
Later, Kelly had a candid conversation with Dorinda about her fiancé Scott Litner, although Dorinda admitted in the confessional that she didn't even know Kelly had gotten engaged.
Kelly later revealed that her fiancé, Scott Litner, had been writing her a love letter every day that she would be on the trip
The ladies then had to do a scavenger hunt, with the group split into two groups
Luann hilariously jumped into a pool to retrieve a necessary toy boat, even though it destroyed her wireless microphone
In the end it was a tie, but Kristen called the decisive clue and scored a win for herself, Kelly and Sonja
She said Scott wrote her a love letter for each day she was gone, and she read a sample letter to her boyfriend, which Dorinda admitted was sweet.
Next up was the scavenger hunt. Martin had prepared clues for the women, who were divided into two groups of three. The items they were looking for included a plastic wine glass, a reminder of Ramona throwing one in Kristen's face, and a prosthetic leg hidden under a lounge chair.
They even found a disgusting bag full of teeth, making fun of the many teeth, veneers and implants Sonja apparently lost due to mishaps on RHONY.
Luann was particularly dramatic when they found their next item – a toy boat floating in the pool – and she jumped into the water to retrieve it.
A producer was heard hilariously screaming in vain that she was going to destroy her microphone, but she didn't hear it before diving in.
In the confessional, Dorinda made fun of Luann for her breathtaking dive, as she could have simply walked to the other side of the pool and grabbed the boat from the edge.
The two groups ended up tied, and the tie-breaker was a video call with Harry Dubin.
His riddle included the word “Legacy” as an answer, to tie in with the season's subtitle “RHONY Legacy,” and Kristen was the first to shout it out loud, so she, Kelly and Sonja emerged victorious.
However, the prize was only a $100 gift certificate to the Loews Regency Hotel, which disappointed everyone.
Later, the women were getting ready for dinner when Sonja said she wanted to wear a T-shirt with “Give Thank, Eat Pie” written on the chest.
Later over dinner, the women revealed how they fell in love with their ex-husbands, although Luann interrupted things when she fell backwards in her chair on the uneven sand
Kelly said her ex Gilles put her engagement ring on her while she was sleeping, only to wake up with a bloody hand because the diamonds were set too low and had cut her fingers
Dorinda said she wouldn't let her ex move in without a ring. One day she came home and met a priest and her then-partner, who told her that they were getting married that day at the town hall
Ramona shot it down and then asked her daughter on the phone if the shirt was acceptable.
“She wants to wear a T-shirt that says 'American Pie,'” she said.
Then Sonja corrected her: “No, it says 'Eat My Pie', although the ambiguity goes further than the actual T-shirt.”
But Ramona's daughter had no interest in getting involved in their argument.
“Okay, Mom, I love you,” she said shortly and hung up.
At dinner, Luann marveled that “cigarettes” were on the menu before pressing her co-stars to reveal how they got engaged or fell in love with their former husbands.
Kelly said her ex-husband Gilles Bensimon, the famous fashion photographer, woke her up one morning with a scratchy feeling on her finger.
She opened her eyes and saw that her hand was bleeding profusely because he had put an engagement ring on her finger while she was sleeping, but the diamonds on the ring were set too long and had cut her fingers when he tried to put it on her.
She praised him as an “incredible artist” but said she “just wasn’t a good person.”
She was optimistic that things would be “different” with Scott, although she hoped he didn't think of her as “Betty Crocker.”
Dorinda then revealed that she wouldn't move in with her ex Ralph Lynch until he proposed to her.
One day she came home to find a priest in her living room and her future husband saying he wanted to go straight to the town hall to tie the knot.
“We're getting married today and going to the town hall.” “You're like a racehorse in the stable,” she told him.
Sonja thought her story was similar, but it was so long-winded that producers revealed they cut 12 minutes of the story, even though hardly any time seemed to have passed
Luanna and Kristen mocked her for digressions about dog poop before she shared that her ex told her he would call her immediately
After Luann fell, all of the women except Kelly and Sonja went to the bathroom to gossip about Sonja's story, which they said was mostly made up and “embellished.”
Kelly looked completely bored as Sonja concluded by claiming she was conceived the first night they had sex
Next up was Sonja, who thought her story was similar.
She recounted a date with her ex-husband, John Adams Morgan, during which he hit his head in a taxi on the way to dinner and tried to stop the bleeding with toilet paper.
Then she was embarrassed because he didn't tip for a good table at the fancy restaurant, so they sat next to the tourists while her friends ate at better tables up front.
He then drove her home, but the show made fun of her long-winded story by cutting 12 minutes, even though it sounded like she barely made any headway with her story.
There were other sections that were edited out and she talked about walking the dog with her future husband, but Kristen and Luann were stuck on the unromantic detail of picking up the dog poop.
“What happened to the ring?” Luann interrupted him.
“The ring was in the cabin,” Kristen joked.
Sonja's story culminated in her saying, “What, do you want to marry me?” to John, to which he said yes.
A week later she had the ring, but she still hadn't slept with him, which shocked Ramona.
“You're engaged and you don't have his penis in you yet?!” She shouted.
Luann interrupted the end of the story by accidentally falling back in her chair on the uneven sand.
She and everyone except Kelly and Sonja then went to the bathroom, but they mostly chatted about Sonja's long-winded story, which to her was a complete “fairy tale.”
“It really reminded me of being eight years old and sitting in front of the Disney Channel on Sunday night when they said, 'Tonight on Disney,' and the fairy came out and went 'Ting!'” Dorinda said in the confessional . “Because that’s not true.”
While they were away, Sonja shared the end of her story alone with Kelly, who looked completely bored.
She claimed she became pregnant the first night she had sex with John.
“I don’t know why Sonja embellishes stories,” Ramona said when she was back in the bathroom. “Maybe it's because she wishes they were real.”
After returning, Sonja had her own mishap and fell backwards just like Luann. However, it was not clear whether it was an accident or an attempt to attract attention.
Luann joked that she didn't want to see her “pretty kitty” again after seeing her in the flesh several times on RHONY, but luckily Luann was wearing underwear.
However, this seemed to put Kristen in a playful mood and she then pulled up her top to give a quick look at her bare breasts.
Dorinda and Luann were in the mood to lose some clothes, so they both took off their tops for a walk by the water while Kelly decided to get in on the bohemian fun.
Kristen wasn't ready to take off all her clothes, but she showed off her breasts once again.
Sonja then strangely had her own mishap and fell back in her chair
Something about it made Kristen feel playful and then she showed everyone at the table her naked breasts
Luann and Kelly both got in the mood and took off their tops to go for a walk on the beach
Dorinda joined them and even took a dip in the sea after flaunting her breasts
Kristen wasn't ready to go completely topless, but she let her friend keep showing off
However, Ramona and Sonja stayed behind. “Do you want to take your breasts out?” Sonja asked. “I like my breasts,” Ramona decided
