Speaking of his new business at the time, he said: “I’ve had the idea for ages and it was one of those things that was put on a pedestal but I was always dying to make it happen.
“I started researching it but couldn’t find anything quite like it — although Carlsberg had an ad that said ‘If we did barbershops,’ and that’s the kind of concept I went with.

“I’ve been in Darlington for three years with my partner Sophie and we have lots of friends and support in the area. When we saw that the place had become vacant, we just had to have it.”
Anthony has also previously said Big Brother changed his life.
He told Chronicle Live: “When I first came off the show my life changed completely, it just turned upside down.
“I went into the Big Brother house, a Durham boy living at home, and came out with people on the street who knew my name.
“The day I got off the show I was contacted by agents and a few days later I was paid £200,000 to do a photoshoot with OK magazine. From day one it was just crazy.’
