Why does Alice do a sexy webcam in Reasonable Doubt

Reasonable Doubt Season 3: Alice’s secrets are finally revealed – Showbizz.net

The second season of the Reasonable Doubt series was particularly interesting and relevant as it covered several taboo or sensitive subjects. Certain scenes set the mood, most notably this season finale, which portrayed the dirtiest case in the show’s history.

The last season ended with a shocking scene when detective Frédéric Masson, played by Marc-André Grondin, surprised his colleague Alice Martin-Sommer, played by Julie Perreault, in her sexy camgirl outfit. Why does the experienced investigator get involved in this strange pastime? This question has been on the mind since the beginning of the series.

In an interview with screenwriter Pierre-Marc Drouin – who directed the second season with Annabelle Poisson and is currently working on the third version – he wanted to tell us what we will see in the third season. It also confirms that the action will “literally” pick up where it left off.

“We’re going to delve much deeper into Alice’s interior,” he explains immediately. “We’ll get a much better understanding of why she’s using the webcam. We will understand exactly what happened in his past. The character will change a lot. Those who have been wondering about Alice’s secret for the past two seasons will find out in Season 3. We will go a long way. There’s also a little note in season 3 that I added that I really like: it’s a little mindhunter note that comes out more strongly in the second half of the season. »

For those who haven’t seen it yet, the Mindhunter series, two seasons of which are available on Netflix, follows two FBI agents trying to identify the personalities of numerous killers in order to gain the knowledge needed to conduct research into advance the behavioral sciences, enabling them to solve criminal cases. Therefore, it is particularly promising to know that this aspect will be added in the next season. The author specifies: “We will delve a little deeper into the psychology of the attackers. »

As for the first case that we get to see in this third season, here’s the only information we’ve been able to glean from the screenwriter: “It’s a case that’s very much in the news.”

Reasonable Doubt Season 3 will premiere in January 2024.

Note that in the same interview, Pierre-Marc Drouin gave us more details on the Lesarmes series, which will mark the comedian Vincent-Guillaume Otis’ return to the big screen in 2024.
