The 11th Sports Equipment Drive organized by Charlesbourg Toyota and Kia Beauport had a spectacular result on September 30th: almost 4,500 items of equipment (photo) were returned to families in need in collaboration with the Le Pivot center community. Your donation will be in addition to $11,000 in new equipment provided by the two dealers for an important cause. Sports giant Decathlon also awarded a $1,500 gift card to all donors and displayed a supplies list in store. Consulting firm Arsenal announces the appointment of Nancy Jalbert (Photo), CPA, an experienced professional as an associate. Ms. Jalbert has more than 30 years of experience in consulting and business management. She focuses on the success of organizations by supporting them in their reflections and implementing concrete measures to achieve their goals. During her career, she was a partner and advisory group leader at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton. She also held financial and technology management positions at a large agri-food company in Quebec. She has also served on the boards of non-profit organizations and as an associate professor in the Faculty of Administrative Sciences at the University of Laval. She will be based in Arsenal’s Quebec office.
Tribute to the peacekeepers

A commemoration of the 75th anniversary of Canada’s participation in the United Nations Forces was recently held at the parade ground of the Quebec Citadel. Members of the Royal 22e Régiment (R22R), who formed this commemorative parade, had invited veterans of Detachment 265 of the Royal Canadian Legion of Quebec (LRC) who served in UN missions to take part in the parade. To the sounds of R22R music, the 18 industry veterans presented themselves to dignitaries and guests. Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) Charles Côté was the reviewing officer.

The Littoral Palliative Care Center’s 4th Annual Auction has been running virtually since October 8th. Placed under the honorary presidency of Marie Eve Garneau (Photo), General Director of the Garneau Thanatologist Group, the auction ends this evening from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with a final spurt (À la Auction) hosted by Stéphane Dupont of FM 93 on the Telemag Québec airwaves.
