Record TV plans to hire presenter and former global player Fausto Silva, “Faustão” as he is popularly known. The information comes from TV Focus. The action would be a way for the channel to beat Globo’s audience, who at the time are showing Caldeirão with Marcos Mion.
Record would also promote a “revenge” against Marcos Mion. The reason: the broadcaster Edir Macedo would not have coped well with the moderator’s departure and the start of his contract with the Marinho brothers.
The station’s top management would have even liked to meet Faustão and is planning a millionaire proposal. The date of the meeting is not yet known, but the journalist’s sources said that the broadcaster asked for a quick arrangement of the meeting.
