Record: s reveal inhumane conditions in recordings Splash

Former Record extra Daniel Apolloh, who shared a series of videos on TikTok complaining to the broadcaster, reported that his phone broke while he was recording a scene with a sword. He says he didn’t leave the device in the closet because he didn’t feel safe since he already knew other pros had been stolen.

“Even the closet where we keep our backpacks, we have multiple backpacks, they break their stuff. The phone has to stay with us. My phone broke during a scene with armor… My friend already ate spoiled food. In “Globo, it’s different. The food is the best, there are several food options, an option for vegetarians. At Record it’s like prison food,” Daniel tells Splash

Giovani Aceti, who worked at the station for years, says problems related to working conditions are nothing new today. “The difference to other channels is striking. We know that the station has the means to invest. Extras are workers and require minimum working conditions. We offer a service. People who had to record in the rain and early morning got the flu.

Splash had access to messages from other professionals who did not want to identify themselves. Daniel and Giovani believe that other extras in the network are afraid to report it and have no further work.
