Under this project, Hanoi is expected to have 10 more by 2050, in addition to the eight bridges that currently exist across this river stream, the first of which will start construction this year and be completed in 2027.
The new Red River crossing will be Thuong Cat, which will be 820 meters long and 33 meters wide, will have eight lanes and will have an estimated investment of $332 million.
