The Michigan club was powered by JT Compher and Robby Fabbri in this match, which preceded Saturday’s clash against the Canadian in Montreal. Both attackers hit the target twice each. The other Wings scorer was Ben Chiarot.

Head coach Jim Montgomery’s men ended a streak of three straight defeats.
Before the winning goal, Jeremy Swayman made 26 saves, recording his second shutout of the season and his 11th career goal.
