Reddit, which introduced contextual keyword targeting last June, shows that advertisers using the product saw a 29% increase in click-through rate (CTR) compared to their community targeting campaigns.

They also saw a 28% increase compared to their interest targeting campaigns alone.

These advertisers also saw a 59% decrease in cost-per-action (CPA) per click compared to community targeting, a 53% decrease in last-click quality attribution, and a 53% decrease in CPA compared to interest targeting.

Keyword suggestions

Additionally, Reddit introduces the final feature of this targeting offering: keyword suggestions.

This machine learning solution allows advertisers to expand their keyword lists by recommending relevant keywords while filtering out those that are not suitable for the brand.

Available through Reddit Ads Manager, Keyword Suggestions takes the guesswork out of targeting by ranking each suggestion based on the number of monthly views on Reddit, opening up an expanded list of relevant targeting opportunities to increase the reach and effectiveness of campaigns increase.
