Originally scheduled for 2022 but pushed back to 2023 last May, multiple sources, including our colleagues at Windows Central, claim to have information about Redfall’s release this year. It would be the first week of May with an Early Access period of a few days for 100 Ball Premium Edition players, as was the case with another game from the Microsoft team. As a reminder, Redfall is the next game fromarcane Austin, the developers of Prey, and Harvey Smith (Dishonored 1 and 2) is the game director. The title will exceptionally offer 4-player co-op, but they assure that it will be an immersive simulation and that it will still be possible to play it alone. So far, writing hasn’t been very excited, but given the studio’s liabilities, we weren’t immune to a good surprise.
Windows Central confirms my report of an early May release target and early access window for Redfall.
