Reese Witherspoon looked happy and relaxed as she walked her French bulldog in her hometown of Nashville, Tennessee after officially filing for divorce from her husband of 10 years.
Exclusive photos from show the naturally blonde star, 47, dressed casually in black leggings, a tie-dye sweater, sunglasses and a baseball cap as she strolled through a park with a friend and their dog Minnie Pearl on Sunday.
Her attire was conspicuously absent from her wedding and engagement bands, although the actress tried to hide her bare fingers by wrapping her dog’s leash around her hand when she was spotted by photographers.
The actress was also spotted phoning in front of her friend just days after she and estranged husband Jim Toth filed for divorce.
The celebrity couple gave “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split and now have to take parenting classes for their 10-year-old son Tennessee.

Witherspoon and Toth, 52, previously announced on social media that they were getting a divorce.
The ‘Big Little Lies’ actress and talent agent wrote, “We have some personal news to share… We made the difficult decision to divorce with great care and thought.
“We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and move forward with deep love, kindness and mutual respect for all that we have created together.
“Our number one priority is our son and our entire family as we navigate this next chapter.
“These matters are never easy and very personal. We really appreciate everyone’s respect for our family’s privacy at this time.
But there’s no mess: “There’s no drama,” the People insider pointed out. ‘You love [their son] Tennessee and that’s their focus. They will continue to parent together consensually.”
Divorce papers obtained by TMZ show the couple agreed to a prenuptial agreement in March 2011.
Reese stated in the court documents that the contract was valid and provided “reasonable and sufficient provisions” for her assets and debts, TMZ reports.
She also noted that she will submit her marriage contract and a permanent Tennessee parenting plan to the judge for approval.

Sources close to the actress have said the divorce was a “badly kept secret” as Witherspoon and Toth found themselves to be “two very different people”.
For example, someone close to the pair told People that the ambitious producer “has her hand in many pots” and Toth “prefers less rushing”.
“They’ve been spending less and less time together while she was working,” the unnamed source explained, noting that the longtime duo “have had fewer interests in common” recently.
Reese has been described as “headstrong and focused”, while Jim is described as “more laid back”.
The Pleasantville actress spent more time in Nashville in 2022 while working on the production of the Apple TV music competition show My Kind of Country.
She also flipped a house nearby for almost double what she paid for the house while her company Hello Sunshine was producing the Amazon series Daisy Jones & the Six.
The actress has also been busy filming season 3 of The Morning Show, in which she stars alongside Jennifer Aniston.
Toth now has a seat on the board of Flowcode, a technology company. He previously left talent agency CAA to work briefly at failed streaming platform Quibi.

A source also said the partners were “working” on their issues and it “took a long time” to get to the divorce.
But earlier this week, it was revealed that Reese is “upset” at the end of the marriage.
Reese and Jim married in March 2011 and welcomed their son Tennessee, now 10, soon after.
Reese also shares daughter Ava, 23, and son Deacon, 19, with her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.
