Starting pitcher Alek Manoah will return to the Toronto Blue Jays roster Friday against the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park.
This was announced by Jays manager John Schneider on Tuesday.

On June 6, the 25-year-old shooter was demoted to the Florida Complex League, the lowest division in minor baseball, due to his poor performance. Since the beginning of the campaign, he has posted a 1-7 record and an earned run average of 6.36.
After a rocky start with the New Hampshire Fishers Cats at AA level, Manoah has made great strides in the past few days. He put in an excellent performance in his second game with the Fishers Cats last Sunday. The right-hander knocked out ten batters in five full innings.
