In the sketch, aptly titled “Inventing Chloe” after a parody of the popular Netflix series “Inventing Anna”, Chloe dons the legendary fake heiress’ oversized black-rimmed glasses, brown hair, and (most notably) her quirky Russian-German hybrid accent.

It all starts innocently enough with Chloe watching Anna’s Invention, just like the rest of us. That is, until she notices a colleague on the set with a sandwich.

After being told this is the last one, she pretends it was her sandwich all along, tapping into her boss girl/con artist era.
And here begins her hilarious parodic transformation:
For example, she actually nailed this:
In a series of scenes, the new Delvey-famed Chloe terrorizes everyone from the break room receptionist to guest host Oscar Isaac.
Chloe enters her Anna Delvey era by tossing her card to the receptionist, which triggers this exchange where she tells him to “run”. [her Metro card] again.”
But Chloe’s reign of terror is far from over. She also co-opts the actor’s personal couch, takes on the role of Joe Biden, and pushes for a “Weekend Update.” She even mentions creator Lorne Michaels’ name: “I assure you, his message is on its way. He’s in the Hamptons now. The reception is very poor, very VIP.”

Instantly iconic boss girl behavior.
In another part of the skit, Chloe tells Oscar that he looks “poor”, which he cannot understand due to multiple repetitions given her unclear accent.

Like, it goes on for many, many iterations.
The comedy peaked here, though:
I would also say “purr” if I saw Oscar live.
And when she finally found out about the missing cashless transfer for expensive food in the break room, she went in a spiral:
I humbly ask: where is her Oscar for Best Actress?
Just then, Kate McKinnon shows up to lift Chloe off the floor during her breakdown. “I can’t help but notice that today you are delvy to everyone. Chloe, you don’t have to do this. Hairstyle, glasses, Russian accent, which is also German. You just have to be confident. .”
