Rodrigo Faro was considered the main man of Record for many years. However, it is not quite so at the moment. The moderator has lost prestige and is finding it difficult to renew his contract with the broadcaster.
Against Faro is Luiz Bacci. The presenter of city alarm had recently extended his contract and took advantage of the good phase of the police afternoon program. This makes Bacci the main man on Record, as he commands one of the biggest viewers on the channel.

According to the Notícias da TV portal, Record renewed the agreement with Luiz Bacci (pictured above) last year. The new twoyear contract was signed discreetly and without any official announcement. According to NTV, the channel is adopting a new policy of not announcing this type of renewal since globe and SBT do.
In times of contract revisions and terminations, Bacci’s contract extension with Record draws attention to itself. But it is justified, given the good results presented by the journalist on the channel.
Under his command, Cidade Alerta remains one of the channel’s most watched programs. From Monday to Friday, the police newspaper is the station’s largest daily newspaper. Or the second largest audience, behind just that Journal da Record. Quite an achievement, because at the station itself there were those who did not believe that Cidade Alerta would resist the death of Marcelo Rezende (19512017).

Luiz Bacci made his television debut as a kid, at the age of 14, as an executive Sunday on stage (Pictured above), segment of Millionaire Sunday (1998), Program of the late Manchete. But he really stood out when he became a reporter for SBT in 2007. At this time Bacci also presented some programs, such as fantasy and Now here.
In 2010 he joined Record to become a reporter in Rio de Janeiro. Shortly thereafter, he became a news anchor at Record Rio. From 2013 he became a reporter for city alarm, when Marcelo Rezente called him the “golden boy”. Bacci also presented the General Balance SP.
The young journalist’s success at Record caught the attention of band, who hired him to lead the afternoon It’s on the screen, in 2014. However, the attraction was a major disaster and was only on the air for four months. After that, the presenter began to command the morning Coffee with newspaperbut soon returned to Record.
After his return, he became an occasional presenter for Cidade Alerta, on weekends and during Marcelo Rezende’s breaks. With that, he became the titular presenter of the attraction after the veteran’s death.
