REM: Last weekend with disabilities on the A-40 West back road

Due to the ongoing construction work on the REM building on Montreal’s West Island, road delays are expected from Friday through the end of May.

These obstacles include the closure of the A40 at Boulevard Henri-Bourassa to allow the installation of the REM apron over the motorway axis, a crossing that will be carried out in four phases until May 30th.

The westbound feeder road to the A40 will therefore be closed from 10pm Friday to 5am Monday, while the Autobahn 40 will remain open to traffic during the same period, CDPQ Infra said.

On the other hand, the westbound A40 will be completely closed at night from 11pm to 5am on boulevards Saint-Régis and Henri-Bourassa during the next week, while westbound was scheduled for the weekend.

The eastbound A40 will also be completely closed between boulevards Saint-Régis and Henri-Bourassa at night from 23 to 27 May from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., while the access road will only be closed on the weekend of 27 to 30 May.
