International singer Beyoncé was able to raise more than $2 billion for the tour Renaissance which begins on Wednesday evening in Sweden.

According to estimates by the prestigious Forbes magazine, the R&B singer’s tour will be more lucrative than that of American Taylor Swift, whose Eras tour could bring in more than $1.6 billion.

Beyoncé is expected to earn between $600 million and $2.1 billion for the world tour of her latest album Renaissance, which was released in 2022. In comparison, Taylor Swift would earn between $620 million and $1.6 billion for the Eras Tour.

According to Forbes journalist Peter Cohen, the Renaissance tour could be by far the most profitable of the Crazy In Love singer’s career in terms of earnings, surpassing the earnings of all his other concerts combined.

The magazine’s estimate comes from the average ticket price that fans of “Queen B” buy at around $700. Also, high profile artists earn a lot from revenue from merchandising strategies.

Beyoncé’s Renaissance album was a worldwide hit, reaching #1 in 15 countries. In February 2023, the singer became the highest-grossing artist in Grammy history with 32 awards.

The star’s last world tour was in 2018 when she was in a duet with her husband Jay-Z.

In total, the 41-year-old singer will perform in 54 venues around the world between May 10 and September 27, 2023, including in the Canadian cities of Toronto and Vancouver.
