AEW Collision is scheduled to premiere on Saturday, June 17th. We’ve been hearing for a while that CM Punk will be returning to AEW for the new weekly show and will be their top star. However, Punk’s name was not mentioned at the show’s official release last week and his name was removed from the original press release. Punk and AEW President Tony Khan reportedly had an issue with Ace Steel’s status as backstage producer on Collision.

On tonight’s episode of Dynamite (May 24), Khan will announce the venue for the June 17 premiere episode of Collision. It’s widely believed that when Khan says it’s at the United Center in Chicago, punk’s issues are resolved and everyone is ready to proceed with their return to the company.

According to a new report from PW Insider Elite, that’s exactly what’s happening on Dynamite tonight. AEW will announce that the first episode of Collision will be held at the United Center. However, Punk’s return is unlikely to be mentioned on tonight’s show. Are you excited for Tony Khan’s announcement tonight at Dynamite, Cagesiders?
