WWE already has a strong case for the upcoming “Day 1” special episode of Monday Night Raw in just a few days, but according to Fightful Select, they're close to adding another name to appear.

The fun part? It's a mystery!

In fact, the report suggests that the deal isn't done yet – which is worth noting as things can change quickly in an industry like this – but they are close to bringing in someone described only as a “former WWE Champion.” It was also noted that this is someone who is not currently part of the squad.

Intrigue!

There are a whole host of names to consider that have just a hint as broad as “former WWE Champion.” This applies to big names like The Rock or Batista, to guys like Kurt Angle or even Hulk Hogan.
