Resident Evil 4 Remake is finally out this Friday, March 24th, 2023 for consoles and PC. To mark the occasion, Capcom has just released a final trailer for this brilliantly remastered cult game.

As you may know, the highly anticipated Resident Evil 4 remake is finally available this Friday 24th March 2023 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Players can therefore (re)discover this mythical episode of the Capcom horror saga, in a modernized and brilliantly redesigned formula.

To celebrate the launch of the title, The Japanese studio just released a final trailer. The opportunity for players to get an overview of what awaits them in this remake: intense battles against the Ganados in the famous village, the Castle of Salazar, without forgetting the island where the game’s epilogue takes place.

As a reminder, in our columns we praised the high quality of this Resident Evil 4 remake. In a few words, the title stands out a lively homage to the cult episode released in 2005. Faithful to the original material, this remake doesn’t forget to improve the formula on every point, be it on the side of gameplay, level design, narrative or the graphic part. with a glowing RE engine.

Mercenary mode confirmed by Capcom

Still, we regretted the absence of certain iconic game modes from the first RE 4 of the name. As a matter of fact, Players will have to do without the Ada dedicated DLC called Separate Ways for the time being. But according to reputable insider DuskGolem, Capcom is currently reviewing this fan-favorite expansion to likely offer it in paid content throughout the year.

Among the other shortcomings, of course, it is necessary to mention mercenary mode. As a reminder, this game mode focused on scoring invited players survive endless waves of enemies as long as possible in multiple arenas inspired by different areas of the campaign.

In particular, this appreciated mode made it possible to embody various key characters of the franchise, like Leon of course, but also Ada, Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, Hulk or even Albert Wesker. Each character had their own arsenal.

Well, good news as Capcom confirms at the end of this trailer the arrival of the mercenary mode from April 7, 2023. Or in two short weeks. Note that this mode is accessible for free.
