See it in the cinema now, ‘Resistance’ is the director’s new science fiction film Gareth Edwards (“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”).
In the plot, John David Washington plays Joshua, a man with the difficult mission of destroying the architect of an artificial intelligence that ruled the Earth… Known as the Creator, this architect ultimately sparked a dystopia by developing a mysterious weapon with the power to start wars end… And also with humanity itself.
As postcredits scenes have become a blockbuster tradition in recent years, viewers are wondering whether “Resistance‘ also sticks to the resource to provoke a sequel.
Although it is recommended to honor the names behind each production, the film it has not additional scenes after the end credits.
In an interview with Screen Rant, Edwards He had also already said that he had no plans to continue the conspiracy.

“We had a lot of material. We filmed a lot. I would like to return to this world. I’d like to do things we haven’t had the chance to do yet. But I’ve been thinking, and I think my favorite part of the whole story is the ending. I like it when things come to an end. That’s why I want it to be a standalone thing. If someone came along wanting a sequel, that would be a really good problem to have. But no, that’s not in the plans.”

“Resistance” is a science fiction drama set in the distant future, in the middle of a planet ravaged by a bitter war between humans and artificial intelligence. Former agent Joshua (John David Washington) is recruited to locate and kill the Creator a mysterious architect responsible for developing a weapon that can end the confrontation and all of humanity. Joshua and his team then head into a dark area occupied by AI, but make a shocking discovery: the weapon they must destroy is actually an artificial intelligence in the form of a child.
The cast also consists of Gemma Chan, Danny McBride, Allison Janney, Ken Watanabe, Ralph Ineson It is Sturgill Simpson.
