– WWE Friday Night SmackDown begins with the intro and then the commentators greet us.
– Sami Zayn then joins the Usos and Solo Sikoa for his match against Sheamus. In the ring, Sami Zayn wanted to talk about the Usos’ performance at the WarGames, but Jimmy Uso cuts him off, preferring to point out that Sami Zayn was the match’s MVP. Jey Uso tells Sami Zayn he earned his respect after what he did at Survivor Series. Jimmy Uso asks him how he feels, Sami Zayn replies he feels UCEY!
Sami Zayn and the Usos check each other out, then Sheamus arrives, accompanied by Ridge Holland and Butch. Brawling Brutes leader says they’ve talked enough, it’s fight night!

At the end of the game, Jey Uso, and yes! distracts the referee as Jimmy Superkicks Sheamus, which Sami Zayn can exploit with the roll-up to victory.

– Behind the scenes, Santos Escobar tells us he will make sure the SmackDown World Cup is in the hands of Legado Del Fantasma. Zelina Vega goes on to say that the win will give Santos Escobar a top flight to the Intercontinental Championship, the Legado Del Fantasma will have some power if Santos Escobar wins the title. Escobar claims that the Ricochet fairy tale is over.
– Behind the scenes, Megan Morant is dating Kofi Kingston, who has great news for us: he’ll be at the Royal Rumble! He is asked about the World Cup final between Ricochet and Santos Escobar, but Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci stop him. Kofi Kingston tells them that Xavier Woods isn’t here tonight, but he’s going to face off against a member of the Empire and it will… Gunther joins them and tells Kofi Kingston they’re going to face off tonight.
– Behind the scenes, Bray Wyatt again claims he wasn’t the one who targeted the LA Knight. And if he was, there would be nothing left of LA Knight.
– Shayna Baszler enters. In the gorilla position, Madcap Moss joins Emma and motivates her for her fight. Emma kisses him on the cheek and then enters.

Late in the match, Shayna Baszler taps Emma with Kirifuta Clutch.

– Shayna Baszler keeps attacking Emma, but Shotzi comes to defend her. Baszler comes in to take over but Raquel Rodriguez comes in the ring with her injured arm! Shayna Baszler decides to leave the ring.
– A video about Lacey Evans’ upcoming return will be released.
– Behind the scenes, Ricochet says if he needs to win the World Championship to have his rematch against Gunther, then let’s look at the winner of the tournament. He hopes Santos Escobar is ready.
