– WWE Monday Night RAW begins with video of Cody Rhodes returning to Royal Rumble 2023 with his historic win.
– Cody then comes into the ring. The audience sings that it is deserved. Cody asks what we want to talk about. Cody says there are new people watching the show every week. So he’ll say right at the start that he’s not the same as he started here many years ago. He started out in Ohio Valley Wrestling thinking he would be a WWE Champion in less than two years. He was ambitious and a little crazy, he thought he was the next John Cena. So if he can step back and talk to his 19 year old version. Would he tell her it wouldn’t be like that? That he would win the Intercontinental title to restore it to its former glory? Do you paint your face? Fall and find glory? Advise him to explore in 2015 and finally come back in 2023 to snag a ticket to WrestleMania, first in the family? The truth is he wouldn’t tell her anything. Because every shot in the ring was 100% worth it.
Cody says the music of the kingdom will go with him wherever he goes. But the beginning says there’s more to wrestling than a royal family. WWE has more than one royal family. But to be true and validated, it has to face another family, before a full bloodline, before the tribal chief, before the table chief. The guy who’s been champion for 800+ days, the guy named Roman Reigns. He says it with sincerity. WrestleMania will be in 62 days, 62 days for the rest of his life. That evening, someone else will be eating at that family table. Reigns may be the biggest Superstar at the end of the night, but he will no longer be the WWE Universal Champion.
Judgment Day comes on the stage. Finn Balor asks if Rhodes is coming to do something original or if he’s coming to copy what he’s done. Dominik Mysterio says that as a bonus, Cody ruined plans for WrestleMania’s doomsday. Rhea Ripley was able to win but had to win the Men’s Rumble match. Balor says that when we talk about the rumble, we all wonder why Rey Mysterio wasn’t able to make the match. Dominik says Cody ruined his moment. But what would have happened if Cody had made that gesture in prison? Cody would stand no longer. Damian Priest says Dominik should be the only wrestler from a family to qualify for WrestleMania. Meanwhile, like everything else, Cody gets 30th place. Dominik says that Cody now owes him an apology.
Cody says he doesn’t want to frustrate her, but he has to ask him if Dominik wants to try to scare him. Speaking of royals, he has nothing but respect for Rey. Dominik says it’s funny, he has no respect for his father and especially Cody’s father. Cody says with 62 days left he could play it safe and stay healthy, or he could be him and kick some ass on Dominik or any of the three here tonight.
Cody celebrates in the ring with the fans, but Edge arrives and starts beating up the Judgment Day members. Cody comes to help Edge, the officers come to separate everyone.
– Back from break it is announced that Austin Theory will be a guest in the VIP lounge tonight.

Seth Rollins vs. Gable Gable after Otis
At the end of the match, Rollins blocks Gables Hold, making him a pedigree for the account of three.

Candice LeRae acc by Michin vs Iyo Sky with acc Kai and Bayley
At the end of the match, Bayley tries to intervene, but LeRae hits her. Sky takes the opportunity to roll him up to account three.
