Phil Roy hasn’t been idle over the past few weeks preparing his return to television, which has been busy to say the least.
Aside from radio, the comedian will be at the helm of Noovo’s new music game Fan War, which will hit the airwaves in less than two weeks. He will take part in the new version of Game Master, which will land in theaters almost at the same time, and will present his documentary The Weight of Appearance a little later this season.

The fan war
Although The Fan War focuses on sometimes extensive and in-depth knowledge of music from here and elsewhere, “you don’t have to be Claude Rajotte or a former MusiquePlus VJ to appreciate the show,” warned the comedian, who sailed like a fish in the Water on this large set.
“[Le fait que ce soit une création d’ici] And that didn’t exist before, I could bring in my animation color,” he assured.
Each episode will also feature around ten performances by the house band, led by Antoine Graton, and guest musicians.
In September, Phil Roy will also be part of the revival of the show “The Master of the Game”, a real summer camp for adults, as he says.
“I thought I was good, but when I look at other people afterwards… people are really creative and imaginative! Everyone really has their own way of doing things; I really enjoyed the game, Marilyne [Joncas] was very pragmatic, very mathematical in his approaches, Kevin [Raphaël] was lost, Mona [De Grenoble] “I was really into the creation,” he said with a laugh.
Later this fall, Phil will present the documentary “The Weight of Appearance,” which he has filmed over the past seven months and which explores the connection between mental health and physical appearance.
In a very personal search, the comedian “set out to find the person who can say they feel 100% comfortable in their body,” he explained, admitting that he has also been in therapy off camera. to understand the spectrum of eating disorders and the relationship between self-image and eating habits.
“I shaped myself and created wrinkles in this unhealthy relationship with food. I’m trying to unravel certain knots. There are knots that I have succeeded in and some that I am currently tying,” Phil Roy continued.

The latter will primarily star Guy Nadon, who plays a famous criminalist trying to free innocent people from prison, and Fayolle Jean Jr., who will play a former street gang member convicted of murder, although he always protested his innocence.
“He is a complex, loyal character who sometimes finds it difficult to get the worms out of his mouth. But it’s fun because in Entre deux Drapes we’re completely somewhere else. “My character Valaire is super pushy, but this one, Anderson Jean-Louis, is super reserved,” emphasized Fayolle Jean Jr.
