American actor Joel Kim Booster is best known for his role in Hulu’s raunchy gay comedy Fire Island.
And it turns out the 35-year-old’s experience on the island extends far beyond his on-screen role.
During an appearance on the Finding Fire Island podcast, Joel admitted to attending a gay orgy involving over 200 people in the New York hotspot.
“I was in an orgy with 200+ people on the island and there’s nothing quite like watching a bunch of guys get verbally abused as the sun rises over the sea,” he gushed.
“The amount of sex and sexual acts I’ve seen in public in front of audiences on this island is kind of wild,” he continued.
“I don’t know what it is about Fire Island that loosens people’s inhibitions a little bit.”

Meanwhile, his Fire Island co-star Matt Rogers also shared a shocking story about spending time at the hedonistic LGBTQ destination.
The American comedian admitted he felt terminally ill during an outing after performing a taboo sex act on another party-goer.
“There was also a time when I would eat crap on the beach and then I would get really sick,” he confessed.
“I was at an orgy with 200+ people on the island and there’s nothing quite like watching a bunch of guys get verbally abused as the sun rises over the sea,” he told the Finding Fire Island podcast.

He concluded, “So yeah, I’m out there as a fully gay man on this beach, and that brings with it his illnesses and his achievements.”
