Gabrielle Boudreau was surprised to see her revolution, this Sunday, with her friend Isabelle Sue. The two chose to perform a number together rather than compete against each other, but ultimately the masters had to decide.
When they decided to confront Gabrielle and Isabelle, the masters did not know that the two dancers were friends.

“Isabelle was the only contestant I didn’t want to face because she’s a person I really like and admire,” Gabrielle said. It was impossible for me to imagine that I wanted to eliminate him, I wanted him to stay in the competition more than any other person.

The two women initially thought about dancing together, but production asked them to play the game in person. They then decided to create a joint number with the same song, in which everyone would take their solo part.
“During this phase we did everything we could to maintain our team spirit by bringing something that had never been done before. Each of us had our own personal story, we embodied the same insecurities as artists.”

The collaboration between the two dancers surprised the masters, but as Mel Charlot said, “We don’t always go to war in the same way.”
Gabrielle received two votes, leaving her friend in the lurch. “I wish he would continue competing. At the time, I was more pained to see his journey end than the joy of continuing my journey. It hurt me to know that I was the reason for his elimination.”
