Ashley Darby and her husband Michael Darby have parted ways.
“When Michael and I said yes almost eight years ago, from that moment on we expected to spend every single day together,” the Real Housewives of Potomac star said in a statement Tuesday on Bravo’s The Daily Dish “. .
“Unfortunately, that is not our current reality. We have decided to part ways.”
Ashley, 33, went on to say that she and the Australian businessman – who is 29 years her senior – “are aware that there will be a lot of speculative views as to why” they called it quits.
“People will quickly assume that the causes were reality TV’s over-intrusion into the most personal parts of our lives, age differences, cultural issues, or differences in child-rearing,” she said, admitting that “likes bits of it all.” influenced our pure love for one another, but no single reason is the root cause of our mutual decision to go our separate ways.”
Ashley explained that she and Michael are simply at “very different stages” in their lives and have “very different goals” for their future.
“We both want the other to find true happiness and fulfillment and feel like we can’t do that together.”

The Darbys – who share sons Dean, 2, and Dylan, 1 – tied the knot in May 2014 and have been on RHOP since the show premiered in 2016.
Things took a wild turn in 2018 when a cameraman accused Michael of groping him while filming Season 4. Michael was subsequently hit with assault and misdemeanor charges of inappropriate sexual contact over the incident, but they were later dropped.
His time on RHOP was also peppered with allegations of cheating, which he denied, and uncomfortably flirtatious comments made to some of the ladies’ husbands and boyfriends.
Representatives for the Darbys and Bravo did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
