“What a venue. What a lot.’ Gervais continued, “I can’t even imagine what my mother would think about me playing at the Hollywood Bowl.”

“I hope she would be horrified by the language, tell me I look fat and secretly be proud.”

Speaking previously about his entry into the iconic book, Gervais said it was a great source of pride for his late mother.

“When I was little I got the Guinness Book of World Records every Christmas,” he wrote on social media.

“The whole family would read it.” I think my mother would be prouder of me being in that book than anything else I’ve ever done.”

Netflix has bought the rights to “Armageddon” and will air it in 2024. This is Gervais’ third comedy collaboration with the streaming service.
