Rihanna and ASAP Rocky met Emmanuel Macron with Kendji Girac

Rihanna and ASAP Rocky were invited to the Elysée Palace this Wednesday, January 24th.

And it is not the first time that Rihanna has visited the residence of the President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte. At a private lunch in 2017, they discussed the education fund.

This time the American stars were invited to a dinner attended by singer Kendji Girac and his manager Alban Travia. Nothing is known about the reasons for this interview and we don't even know if other stars were invited. The only photos available are those published by Alban Travia on social networks, which are formal and very discreet: Emmanuel Macron does not appear there!

In one of them, however, we see Brigitte Macron surrounded by Kendi Girac, dressed entirely in beige, as well as Rihanna and ASAP Rocky. They had chosen coordinated black outfits: coat and leather jacket, a straight, knee-length skirt for the singer and a patterned black tie on a white shirt for her husband. If it weren't for the diamond bracelet on her left ankle, Rihanna's outfit wouldn't be anything special. Ms. Macron opted for a black bell-bottomed suit. And it was the buttons on her outfit that were set with diamonds and matched with a long necklace.

There are many speculations about the reasons for this “holy evening”, as Alban Travia describes it. If it's happening during Fashion Week, the Yellow Pieces Gala might be the reason. In fact, Brigitte Macron has taken over the presidency of Bernadette Chirac's favorite charity and is giving it extra shine through galas with renowned international guests. And this year ASAP Rocky and Kendji Girac will be on stage at the Accor Arena on January 26th.

“To mark the 35th anniversary of the Fondation des Hôpitaux’s Operation Yellow Pieces, numerous French and international stars gathered for an extraordinary show at the Accor Arena,” the venue’s website says.

Among others, Maroon 5, J Balvin, Pharrell Williams, Stray Kids, Gims, Gautier Capuçon, Ibrahim Maalouf, Christine and the Queens, Vianney, Zazie, the group Phoenix, Lisa from Blackpink, Khatia Buniatishvili and Nadine Sierra will also be there. The part.

The concert will be broadcast the next day on France 2.
