Last month, the actress revealed she had “no idea” she was pregnant with her second child while posing for the new cover of British Vogue.
The Barbados native, her boyfriend A$AP Rocky and their baby son, who was born in May, all posed for the photo shoot on the Malibu beach in mid-December.
“How crazy both my babies were in these photos and mommy had no idea,” the star wrote on Instagram during the shoot.
She also explained her son – whose name has not yet been released – is “so good”.
Rihanna revealed her second pregnancy to the world during a stunning performance on the Super Bowl Halftime Show.
She also thanked writer Edward Enniful and photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin “for celebrating us as family!”.
It’s unclear when exactly the singer found out she was expecting her second child, or how far along she is.

She also explained why she decided to perform on Super Bowl Sunday, just four years after turning down the gig in solidarity with former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
“There’s still a lot to fix in my mind, but it’s powerful to be breaking down those doors and having representation at such a high, high, consistent level,” she said.
Her performance comes a year after the critically acclaimed halftime show of Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J Blige and Kendrick Lamar.
“Two Super Bowls in a row, you know, representing the urban community worldwide. It’s powerful. It sends a really strong message,” she added.

She also spoke openly about the responsibility of raising a black son in today’s world, calling it one of the scariest responsibilities in life.
“You think, ‘What am I leaving to my children? That’s the planet they’re going to live on?” All of these things are really starting to hit differently,” she said.
The singer added that motherhood also encouraged her, which led to her taking on the Super Bowl gig just months after giving birth to her first child … and seven years after she last performed on stage.
“It’s that knowledge that you can do anything, even things that seem craziest to you, like, ‘Am I going to say yes to the Super Bowl in the middle of the postpartum period?'” she said
‘What the hell am I thinking? But you’re geeked at such a challenge because you know what your body just did. You feel that “nothing is impossible” feeling, she said.

She added that she didn’t expect to be pregnant with her second child when she accepted the gig, adding, “It was almost like an out-of-body experience.”
“I haven’t been on stage in seven years. seven years! From zero to the Super Bowl? It’s mental,” she joked.
She admitted the real reason she took the Super Bowl stage was to honor her loyal fans.
“I want to do a show. I want to have fun. I haven’t done that in a minute and I’m doing this for the people who love my music, the people who have supported me and got me to this point in my career,” she said.
“And who particularly miss me as a musician. It’s really me getting back on stage right now – crazy stage to be back on stage – but I’m really doing this for my fans,” she added.
