Pop star Rihanna, Meta boss Mark Zuckerberg and Ivanka Trump, some of the world's most influential people, are invited to the lavish wedding celebrations hosted by Mukesh Ambani, Asia's richest man, alongside his son in India on Friday.
Photos published by Indian media confirmed the arrival of Rihanna, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan, and Ivanka Trump, the eldest daughter of former US President Donald Trump, in Jamnagar, India. Gujarat state, western India.
Local media reported that R&B star Rihanna, who gave birth to her second child in August, will headline the entertainment and make her first public appearance since last year's Superbowl.
According to India Today, the homegrown singer was offered a fee of $9 million to attend the event.
The celebrations organized by Mukesh Ambani will also be attended by heads of major international companies, Bollywood stars and politicians.
Illusionist David Blaine and Bollywood star Diljit Dosanjh will perform for distinguished guests.
Mr Ambani, 66, chief executive of oil and telecommunications giant Reliance Industries, is the richest person in Asia and the 10th richest person in the world, with a fortune of more than $116 billion, according to Forbes' real-time billionaires list.

He inherited an already thriving oil, gas and petrochemicals business from his father and built it into a conglomerate with lucrative interests in retail, telecommunications and an Indian Premier League cricket team.
Reliance's partnerships with brands like Burberry and Armani have helped it meet the growing demand for luxury goods in India.
Antilia, Mr. Ambani's family home, is a 27-story skyscraper that reportedly cost more than $1 billion to build, employs 600 permanent staff, and is a Bombay landmark.
After the building was completed in 2010, the tycoon came under criticism from author Arundhati Roy, among others, for flaunting his immense wealth in light of the large number of his compatriots living in terrible poverty.
Mr Ambani had organized India's most expensive wedding for his daughter in 2018, reportedly costing $100 million, with a concert by American pop star Beyoncé.
On Wednesday evening, Mr. Ambani and his wife Nita, accompanied by their son Anant and his fiancée Radhika Merchant, kicked off the celebrations with a dinner for the 50,000 residents of Jamnagar, the birthplace of Reliance.
Anant Ambani, 28, sits on the board of several Reliance-owned companies and will marry Radhika Merchant, 29, the daughter of an Indian industrialist, later this year.
The Ambani family is building a massive Hindu temple complex in Jamnagar to celebrate their union and “keep India's rich cultural and spiritual identity at the center of wedding celebrations,” the Reliance Foundation said on social media on Monday.
Microsoft founder Bill Gates, the daughter of former US President Ivanka Trump, former Swedish Prime Minister Carl Bildt and Canadian Stephen Harper, the King of Bhutan, Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan, cricket icons Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni and tycoon Gautam Adani among the personalities invited to the celebrations.
Disney boss Robert Iger is also among the guests. A deal between Reliance Industries and Walt Disney to merge their Indian media businesses was announced on Wednesday. The merger will create an $8.5 billion entertainment giant in the world's most populous country and fifth-largest economy.
