Rishabh Pant suffered injuries after his car accident
Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant has sustained injuries after his car crashed into the bulkhead and caught fire as he was driving from Delhi to Uttarakhand. Pant fell asleep while driving and this led to the accident, he told the police. After initially being taken to a local hospital, Pant has now been transferred to Max Hospital in Dehradun.

1) Rishabh Pant’s car had an accident near Roorkee in Uttarakhand. He wanted to visit his family.
2) The incident happened around 5:30 in the morning
3) Pant was driving his Mercedes car which caught fire after colliding with the bulkhead. Pant broke the windshield to escape the vehicle.
4) Rishabh has two cuts on his forehead, a torn ligament in his right knee and has also injured his right wrist, ankle, toe and has abrasions on his back.
5) Rishabh’s condition remains stable and is currently under observation at Max Hospital in Dehradun.
6) The cricketer told the police that he dozed off while driving and that’s how the accident happened.
7) Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that all costs of Pant’s treatment will be borne by the state government.
8) Pant was recently part of the Indian team that won the Test series in Bangladesh. He was dropped from India’s T20I side for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka and was due to join the NCA for strength and conditioning ahead of the Test series against Australia in February.
