Last Saturday, June 3rd, a River Plate fan died instantly after falling from the stands at Sívori Alta monumental stadium, in Argentina. The event happened in the first half of the Millionaires’ game against Defensa y Justicia on matchday 19 of the Argentine Professional League. The fall caused a head injury and after the referee confirmed death, he stopped play.
