Road closures are planned in the Ville-Marie district this weekend, in addition to recurring and occasional obstructions on routes between the metropolis and Montreal’s south coast.

Northbound Highway 25, including the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine Tunnel, will be completely closed between exit 90 of Highway 20 and Sherbrooke Street East Thursday evening through Friday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., Mobility Montreal announced.

Rue Saint-Urbain is completely closed between Avenue Viger Ouest and Rue Saint-Antoine from Friday to Sunday. A single lane will then be maintained on Saint-Urbain until January 20, 2023.

A single lane is open on Avenue Viger Ouest between Rue Saint-Urbain and Rue Hermine until January 20, 2023. The same applies to Rue Saint-Antoine Ouest between Rue Saint-Alexandre and Rue Saint-Urbain.

In Beaconsfield, Exit 48 to Saint-Charles Boulevard off Highway 20 will be closed in both directions Sunday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Mobilité Montréal reminds that half of the lanes of the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel will be closed until November 2025. , the organization states on its website.

The works will also cause one lane to be closed on the Victoria Bridge until the end of the month.
