Robbie Williams has revealed pop star Kylie Minogue was his ultimate ‘crush’ but that he ‘blew up’ any chance of romance between them.
The former Take That singer, 48, has said in a new interview that he was too nervous to do anything and that “it didn’t happen as much as he wanted”.
Robbie is now married to wife Ayda Fields and the two share four children, Teddy, nine, Charlie, seven, Coco, three, and Beau, two.

On Scott Mills’ Radio 2 show My Life Thru A Lens, Scott asked him, “You and Kylie? What was happening?’
He replied: “Not as much as I wanted to be, unfortunately.
“I screwed that up by always being 13 whenever I was around her. It was like the girl from the year above me. “I don’t know how to talk to you!”
“But she’s my crush, my crush of crushes.”

Kylie and Robbie teamed up for a duet for their 2000 hit single Kids, and the Take That star even admitted he had a crush on her at the time, but dashed any hopes of romance by poking fun at her made when she undressed for the video.
It comes after Robbie admitted earlier this year he found dating in his 20s “disappointing” as he tried to navigate the search for love with his celebrity status.
When asked about his love life during an interview with French magazine Paris Match, he said: “Yes, well, we are told again and again that we have to live in a monogamous relationship and that love will heal us and fill in the gaps .

The singer was also asked about the rumors that he dated Kylie and Nicole Kidman when he was growing up, which he jokingly referenced Bill Clinton’s untrue denial of “sexual relations” with White House intern Monica Lewinsky.
He replied, “As Bill Clinton would say, I’ve never had a relationship with any of these women.”

The former X Factor judge previously collaborated with Nicole on the song “Somethin’ Stupid” in 2001.
He praised the Aussie star in 2018, calling her “pretty” and “incredibly gifted” while speaking to the Herald Sun.
The rock DJ hitmaker said: “We worked together, we sang together; Getting someone of Nicole’s caliber to sing with me was the biggest coup of the century.
“She is a lovely person, incredibly gifted and talented and I’m glad this moment happened.”

In 2014, the Big Little Lies producer spoke about working with Robbie during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show.
“He just asked me to do it, and I was between films and I was like, ‘Okay, I’ll try,'” Nicole said.
“I had just done Moulin Rouge! i was so shy And I had to do the harmonies, which was really hard for me. But he was really nice. and I did it in an hour,” she added.
