247 Independent candidate for President of the United States Robert F. Kennedy Jr. defended in a recent interview the strategic importance of Israel for the interests of American geopolitics.

He emphasized Israel’s role as an American bulwark in the Middle East and described calls for an end to the Zionist state as a threat to U.S. national security interests. He also noted that Saudi Arabia’s integration into the BRICS group (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) could redefine the balance of power in controlling global oil resources.

“Israel acts as a US stronghold in the Middle East. An aircraft carrier in the Middle East, an ‘incredible’ ally in technology. The money goes to the United States, but now Iran is an ally of Russia and China. Iran controls the oil of Venezuela, where Hezbollah is present and supports the Maduro regime. With Saudi Arabia joining the BRICS, they will control 90% of the world’s oil if Israel disappears. Israel is our ambassador there and gives us information and the opportunity to influence events. “That would be a disaster for U.S. national security,” Kennedy Jr. said last Sunday in an interview with The Rubin Report (5).

Kennedy is a descendant of an illustrious political lineage: son of former US Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy and nephew of former US President John F. Kennedy. When Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, it declared its support for the Zionist regime. “This shameful, unprovoked and barbaric attack on Israel must be met with global condemnation and unequivocal support for the Jewish state’s right to selfdefense,” he wrote on his website at the time, calling the Palestinian militants’ offensive “terrorism.”
