Roberto Gentile, Spokesman For Radio Subasio, Has Died. He Was 55

For health reasons, he has not been on the air in the usual morning slot for some time

Radio Subasio spokesman Roberto Gentile, 55, died during the night. It is the station itself that spreads the news of his untimely death through its social channels. «Roberto Gentile, he is no longer with us. He will be greatly missed by the listeners and by all of us at Radio Subasio because, as he always said, “We are one family,” the Assisi-based radio station said in a statement. “And it’s really true. Gentile was born in Rome but grew up in Assisi, where he returned to live and work after the University of Pisa and his experience at Radio Rai. He hasn’t been on the air in the usual morning slot for some time due to health reasons, but a few days ago Gentile wanted to send a shout out to his audience and thank them for the affection he’d shown them over the past few weeks that he replaced by Vera Torrisi and Stefano Pozzovivo.
