The Laval Rocket have many cripples on their roster, including defender Otto Leskinen, who will miss the rest of the season with a left hip injury.

The Montreal Canadiens school club also announced on Tuesday morning that the Finn had had surgery last Wednesday. The one goal and seven assists in 24 games with the Rocket this year played his last game on December 14.
In addition, head coach Jean-François Houle will be without goalkeeper Kevin Poulin indefinitely as the Quebecer undergoes a more thorough medical. His last game dates back to January 21 against the Toronto Marlies.
Houle, however, can rejoice at the idea of seeing forward Gabriel Bourque on the ice, as well as guards Tory Dello and Madison Bowey. Those returns should further help Rocket as they attempt to climb the American Hockey League North Division rankings.
Fifth with 42 points, Laval visits the Marlies on Friday. This is followed by the Skill Contest and Circuit All Star Game at Place Bell on Sunday and Monday.
