Atile Doherty has launched a career as a Liam Gallagher tribute act.
The Babyshambles star's 20-year-old son Pete, whose mother is Lisa Moorish, has been putting himself to the test singing the Oasis rocker's songs and will play a gig at The Boat Yard in Leigh-on-Sea on Friday and there perform his songs.
His choice of cover is intriguing considering his half-sister Molly, 25, is the daughter of Liam, 51, meaning Atile has the perfect inside scoop.
As Astile takes the stage as Liam, a resurfaced video from 1997 shows an MTV interview with a baby-faced Pete, in which he was queuing to buy Oasis' third studio album, Be Here Now, saying: ” Noel is a poet and Liam is a town crier.”
The rock star connections are well known, thanks to Lisa's highly publicized affairs with the legendary rockers in the late 1990s and early 1990s, both of whom have two other children each and all of their children have different mothers.

A poster for Atile's show reveals that the set is called 'Liam On Sea' and starts at 6pm at the trendy Essex pub and restaurant.
In a nod to the family passion for Liam's band Oasis, a 1998 video shows an 18-year-old Pete standing in line to buy the album, being asked by the interviewer: “Can you play Oasis for me?” summarize in one sentence?”'
In a typically eloquent style that shocked the interviewer, Pete replied: “Well, I agree with Amberto Echo's view that Noel is a poet and Liam is a town crier and I'll sing that as the perfect combination.”
His reference to the Italian medieval historian and philosopher Umberto Eco particularly surprised the testy interviewer, who asked him to repeat himself.
Astile is Pete's eldest child, whom he shares with Molly. They met during his band Libertines' tour in 2002 when he met the Kill City singer. The following year she gave birth to her son.
The singer was once banned from seeing his son because of his drug addiction, but after going to rehab and getting clean, he became a much more hands-on father.
Lisa told Metro in 2009: “Peter keeps having issues with his recovery, so it was a really difficult decision…”
“But when he got out of rehab last year and started getting his life together, I thought the time was right. “I want Astile to have a father.”

Pete is reported to have said: “If I can claim to be in control of my own life, I'll take some responsibility for Astile. 'I love the little guy.'
Pete also has a daughter, Aisling, with model Lindi Hingston, who shared the news of their daughter's arrival in 2012, a year after her birth.
A week after Linda shared the news, Pete said: “The little girl was born two months early. 'I said I would try to be there for the birth… Yes, she's mine.'
Pete is now happily married to his Puta Madres bandmate Katia De Vidas and the couple welcomed daughter Billie-May in May last year.
Liam fathered Molly with singer Lisa in 1998 – two months after his marriage to Patsy Kensit – but only became involved in her life in 2019.
Liam has a fourth child whom he has never met in the US, a daughter named Gemma, born to New York journalist Liza Ghorbani in 2012.

Before contacting her father, Molly was in regular contact with her uncle Noel and found herself at the center of a social media row when mother Lisa attacked Liam in 2017 when Molly supported Noel using the hashtag #FAMILYFIRST.
However, Molly and her uncle no longer speak to each other since her reunion with her father Liam. It was reported that Molly was born after Liam cheated on his then-wife Patsy with Lisa.
In February 2018, Liam admitted he hadn't met Molly yet, telling The Mirror: “I just never got around to meeting her.” I've heard she's doing well though. She's fine. I never heard that she wanted to meet me.'
Liam revealed he has written a song called 'Now That I've Found You' about his formerly estranged daughter.
In May 2018, Liam shared a snap on his Instagram with Molly and his two sons Gene and Lennon. It is believed that she came with her half-brothers to watch her father perform at the London Stadium and the two eventually met.
