Dave Meltzer reports that WWE is holding a press conference in Las Vegas this Saturday to announce the main event for its November 5 Crown Jewel pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia. Roman Reigns vs. Logan Paul is scheduled to headline the PPV.

Logan Paul makes a big announcement for tonight’s episode of SmackDown.
Before his appearance on SmackDown tonight, Paul sent out a tweet saying there will be one a “massive announcement” in the episode. Paul wrote: “Tune in to massive announcement tonight”
WWE appears to be setting up a match between Roman Reigns and Paul. If that happens, the Crown Jewel pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia in November seems a possible target. Neither Reigns nor Paul will be promoted to the Extreme Rules PPV in October.
Reigns is the undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
Paul’s appearance on SmackDown tonight was sparked by an exchange on Twitter after Reigns was on Paul’s Impaulsive podcast. After Reigns left the podcast, Paul said Reigns is the person in WWE he wants to face.
“Now if you put me against Roman Reigns I think I would win,” said Paul. “Me vs Roman Reigns, one on one, that’s my match.”
Reigns responded to Paul’s comments by posting a tweet asking Paul Heyman to “handle” him.
Paul “Triple H” Levesque then invited Paul to appear on SmackDown tonight.
This will be Paul’s first appearance on WWE television since defeating The Miz at SummerSlam. In June of this year, it was announced that Paul had signed a contract with WWE.
