Professor Ronaldo Veitía, a paradigmatic figure in women’s judo with more than 20 Olympic medals as a coach, came out of gravity and responded positively to the proposed stimuli.
The coach remains hospitalized in Alicante, Spain, following a cardiovascular accident he suffered more than a week ago.
According to the part of the doctors treating him, Veitía has stable blood sugar levels and is continuing to live without a fever.
In addition, he is already taking food orally and is being moved to another room because his health is no longer improving.
The legendary coach was in a coma for several days, on artificial respiration and unresponsive to stimuli.
