Marisa Monte presented the Portas touring show for the second year in a row in Brasília, entertaining the fans who filled the Ulysses Convention Center this Saturday (September 30th). But the evening was even more special for the former Federal Minister of the Federal Court of Justice (STF), Rosa Weber, who was honored by the artist.

The lawyer retired from the Supreme Court on Friday (September 29th) after handing over the presidency of the Court to Minister Luís Roberto Barroso in a ceremony on Thursday (September 28th). On this occasion, Minister Edson Fachin was also sworn in as Vice President.

Immediately after singing the song “Rosa”, Marisa dedicated the text to the jury: “This song was not in the repertoire of the show and I wanted to record it this week especially in honor of Pastor Rosa Weber.” For the great work in defense of the Women, for example, for the posture and also for the incredible demonstration of strength and gentleness,” explained Marisa.

The shows of Music metropolisesc marks the singer’s last visit to Brasília with the Portas tour, which has already toured throughout Brazil. The next stops will be the USA and Europe.

In addition to the tracks from Portas, which the artist released in 2021 after a 10year break, Marisa Monte’s setlist includes various moments from her career, including Beija Eu, Vilarejo, Não Vá Though, Bem Que Se Quis, Além and Na Estrada. The setlist also includes Já Sei Namorar and other songs by the Tribalistas, consisting of singers and artists Carlinhos Brown and Arnaldo Antunes.
